PAX-it!

PAX-it is far more than your average commercial thumbnail gallery management software. It is designed for advanced organizing, managing and cataloging both images and non-image files such as reports and spreadsheets. PAX-it has a unique electronic filing system that allows you to organize your collection of digital images into pages of cabinets and folders. Rather than simply pointing to items in Windows folders, PAX-it is a true image database that manages assets in relation to textual notes, overlays, analytical data or measurements on images, and more. An imaging management workflow can be designed around PAX-it functions of acquisition, archiving, annotation, reporting, sharing, and communicating with images.

Pictures, reports, spreadsheets, etc. can be saved into PAX-it and database information saved with each item or asset. Your measurement data may also be saved into the database. Database searches are easily accomplished in either a basic or advanced mode to find related assets or to locate a particular item.

Images from analog cameras, SEMs, scanners or PAXcam digital cameras can easily be backed up or archived by using the CD/DVD Creator. You can also move assets offline while keeping the database information online.

Images can also be secured by using PAX-it’s Extended Security module to assist with 21 CFR Part 11 compliance, HIPAA compliance, or other high security applications. Security is an important part of the PAX-it image management software.
